Information Communication and Technology Unit

The ICT unit serves two primary functions within the ministry. Initially, it is tasked with devising strategies to develop MISE's ICT infrastructure while offering assistance and guidance on any ICT-related matters. In addition, the unit is tasked with the development of new database systems, the investigation of or recommendation of systems that can improve service delivery efficiency, and the verification that the ministry's ICT infrastructure is operating at maximum capacity to facilitate its operations. In addition to providing ICT services, the unit is responsible for public awareness initiatives, such as coordinating radio programs, coordinating awareness programs from divisions and SOEs, and reporting on ministry or project activities that require public access. Additionally, the unit gathers public feedback that may be useful for future ministry activities and planning.
