Research and Development Unit

This is a new division created under the Corporate Services Department. The purpose of this division is to carry out cross-cutting research and development needed by all departments to improve data collection and other required undertakings. 

The Research and Development Division is responsible for conducting research to collect data and identify new opportunities for innovation.  Since this division is new and recruitment is underway, the Deputy Secretary will oversee the operation of this division. The positions that falls under this new divisions are as follows:

GIS Officer – This position had been recruited and funded under the World Bank funding through KOITIIP for the next 3 year and to be absorbed into the ER there after.
